The Retreat
Fashioned from the dust of the wild plains, our heart longs for freedom and adventure. Jesus drew away before being baptised, before selecting the twelve, before walking on the water and many times in-between. The Higher Ground retreat is our response to this ancient discipline of spending intentional time with God in an environment free of distractions.

The venue accommodates a maximum of 16 men. Whilst the location is remote, we are well set up with bungalow accommodation, electricity, hot water and refrigeration. Should you prefer to pitch your own tent, a slight discount is applicable. We have access to the entire reserve as a wild playground for us to enjoy. For those who run or cycle, bring your kit. Or just your walking shoes. Meals are a highlight and every evening includes a game braai with fresh produce and ingredients from the farm. For more information, please register your interest here.
